In 2025 we crossed a major threshold: the Barry Long Archive became publicly available, expanding rapidly from video to include 500+ hours of audio, and it has become a platform that people actively use. Alongside the recordings, a growing catalogue of topics and articles offers entry points into the archive. At the same time, The Barry Long Podcast continued to grow, and the launch of Barry Long Answers in December 2025 introduced a focused Q&A format and it is gaining traction.

Looking ahead, 2026 is about increasing access and widening reach. We will continue publishing new material in the archive, expand distribution across major podcast platforms, and deliver major platform additions – most notably access to the complete book catalogue and direct-to-user digital sales.

In 2025, we made major progress in making Barry's work available online, launching The Barry Long Archive with the Complete Video Collection and over 500 hours of audio. More audio, articles, and book content – including translations – are coming in 2026. The Barry Long Podcast grew to 200 episodes, and a new series, Barry Long Answers, launched on YouTube. 2025 was a breakthrough year, and we plan to build on this momentum in 2026.

Listening to Barry's recordings is now available in the archive, with 481 new meeting session audio recordings added in November. The first 10 minutes of each recording are free to listen to without a subscription. Full access to all recordings requires a subscription, with details and FAQs available on the Subscription Page. The Complete Barry Long Video Collection offers 361 videos from 26 meetings filmed in Australia (1994–2002), many previously unpublished. Access is by subscription with streaming to your device. Powerful search tools help you find specific topics and Barry's insights. Over 30 hours of free previews are available, and each meeting features a highlighted segment. No login is required to browse. The Video Archive can be accessed via the website's main menu.

The Articles Archive is a selection of articles and consists at the moment of 293 entries, totalling a little over 400 pages, featuring articles, interviews, extracts, aphorisms and statements – many not published before.

Barry's new audio release tackles the fear of death by challenging the common perception of it as the end of self and something negative. He addresses various aspects of death and dying, dispelling misconceptions and fears that the mind holds. By overturning these false ideas, Barry helps listeners find more life and joy, transforming their understanding of death into a more positive and enlightening experience.

We are proud to announce publication of a lost manuscript, written by Barry shortly before he died. Evidently he wanted to leave behind a summary of all the important things he'd said about meditation. After all, the beginning and end of his practical teaching is a practice – call it meditation or being still or 'going into me' – it's in the practice that step by step we get to the truth of ourselves. That's what this book is about – the five steps to reality taken in right meditation. Why is it 'right'? Because it's a practice that leads directly to the truth of ourselves.

The Barry Long Channel offers videos and audio recordings of Barry Long at seminars, in conversation and being interviewed, providing viewers with insights and knowledge on a wide range of topics The live meeting recordings give practical advice on dissolving negative emotions, living in the senses, and exploring the truth of love and the human condition. Popular videos include 'How To Stop Thinking' and meditation, as well as the popular relationships topics 'Making Love - Sexual Love the Divine Way'. Barry's teachings are practical and transformative, covering the aspects of human experience like: karma, time and the past, and the reality of now. A new Barry Long Book on meditation and its perennial importance as a spiritual art. Towards the end of his life Barry wrote about five steps that he identified as crucial for right meditation. The manuscript came to light recently and so we're publishing it as a short hardback book and it will be out next year. Copies can be pre-ordered now, in bookstores, online and via Amazon.

Listen for free to Barry speaking with the theoretical physicist David Bohm in 1983. It's a recording we discovered in the archives, made in the early days of The Barry Long Centre in London. We've improved the audio quality and added video to accompany this historical recording. It is a unique conversation about the reality and notion of time, death and life.

The Myth Of Life Series is a journey through the human psyche which forms our existence. 'Scenes from an Enlightened Life' is a film on YouTube's Barry Long Channel, showcasing Barry Long's spiritual journey through archive photos and interviews. Born lifeless, Barry revived and spent 32 years in ordinary existence before truly awakening through love. For 45 years, he taught others about life, love, and death. The film, featuring unseen footage, challenges conventional views on enlightenment, highlighting Barry's realizations, his profound love for women, God, and truth, and his blend of genius and humanity. It serves as a visual companion to his posthumous autobiography, offering an inspiring narrative of his enlightened life.

The Gold Coast Talks series captures Barry's final teaching phase, offering his latest, ever-unfolding insights into truth and life. Newly available and digitally remastered these recordings are bundled in year sets for easy download. This whole collection of three hour afternoon talks cover new aspects, insights and updates of Barry Long's teaching over the years from 1993 - 2002 making it a treasured resource in Barry's archive.

Barry Long's Journals, previously out of print, are now available as eBooks on Amazon and other online booksellers. These three volumes document his teachings from his global tour starting in August 1990, where he introduced the concept of cosmic consciousness. Despite their topical nature, the teachings are profound and timeless. Journal One focuses on divine life and fulfillment, Journal Two on enlightenment and overcoming ignorance, and Journal Three on mastery and the karma of living.

'Talks from Tamborine Mountain' were initially shared with Barry Long's UK students to maintain contact after his return to Australia. As his teachings gained global reach, these recordings became a cherished way for a broader audience to connect with his insights on truth. The tapes offered an immersive experience, allowing listeners to feel present with Long as he shared his reflections.

This book offers essential guidance on getting love relationships right. A master-class in living and loving, it is compiled from transcripts of Barry's audio recordings and unpublished dialogues, providing insights into transforming sex into love and maintaining straightness and honesty in relationships.

In July 2000, Barry delivered a powerful seminar over several days, with five sessions filmed and released on VHS in 2001. These sessions, titled 'Getting The Idea', 'The Wonder of Life', 'Doorway to the Everlasting', 'God being God', and 'The Transformation of Self', focus on realizing and understanding God continuously. The original tapes have now been remastered and transcoded into downloadable MP4 format, making them available in a contemporary form for the first time.

Barry Long knew he was dying and so he set down his contribution to us in one last book. This is it: 'From Here to Reality - My Spiritual Teaching'. It contains his final word on truth, love and death; sex, relationships and parenting; and the myth of life on earth.

'My Life of Love and Truth' tells Barry Long's story from his early years in Australia to a career as a successful Australian newspaper editor; how he abandoned that world, went to India and then to England to be a writer; how the love of woman completely changed his life and a burning love of the truth utterly transformed him. It is Barry's own candid account of the succession of spiritual crises and realisations that made him a spiritual master.

The audio series 'Talks from Tamborine Mountain' feature recordings by Barry Long, made from his home on Tamborine Mountain, Australia, after returning from the UK in 1986. These talks, recorded without an audience, speak directly to the listener, and focus on profound and relevant subjects for those seeking to live the divine life. The collection serves as an inspirational spoken journal of a living master.

The Foundation regrets to announce that Sara Koh died on 17 July 2015 after a long illness. Sara was Barry Long's devoted partner and companion towards the end of his life. She served him and his work for almost twenty years. She became the Foundation's chief executive and was a Trustee of The Barry Long Trust. A private person, she did not wish it to be widely known that for the last ten years she had been incapacitated by a crippling disease. Nevertheless we acknowledge now the great support she gave Barry in his life and his teaching, all the work she did on his books, at the Master Sessions and in the background, and above all her real contribution to love on this planet. Those who knew her in her serenity and devotion will know that the love she was remains.

In May 1989, Barry Long returned to England to teach in Bristol, where his talks were recorded on video by Trevor Davies. These recordings, initially intended for audio cassettes, were rediscovered 20 years later in the Barry Long Archive. In 2009, a limited edition DVD titled 'THE GOOD' was created from these tapes for donors. In 2014, the DVD, featuring Long's earliest public teaching video, was made available for purchase. The talk, filmed on May 19, 1989, at The Victoria Rooms, Bristol, explores the theme of rediscovering life's wonder by giving up wondering.

Increasing numbers of people around the world are attracted to Barry Long's no-nonsense approach to living the spiritual life. His books, tapes and videos encompass all aspects of spirituality from meditation to raising children, from cosmic consciousness to making love.

An Australian, he took his radical and original spiritual teachings to Europe and America - transforming ordinary people's lives for more than 35 years.

The teachings arose from his dedication to truth and love and from his own spiritual realizations. A 'mystic death' in 1965 was followed by a series of transcendental experiences, including what he described as the rarest of all recorded realizations. Having lived an ordinary western life as a younger man, he was able to bring this profound spiritual knowledge to our everyday world and express it with great power and practicality.

I am the master of these times . . . I say that I can explain any aspect of truth in ordinary English words . . . I am the first master to present a comprehensive way of life that embodies honesty and the love of man and woman - without intellectualising the realisation of God . . . I seem to be the first teacher to have ever said 'You have no right to be unhappy' and then to demonstrate that as a way of life.

He attributed much of the unhappiness on earth to the sexual relationship of men and women and introduced a contemporary tantric teaching which brought him to the attention of many thousands of couples.

He stayed away from the media and the bright lights of fame but nonetheless men and women sought him out from many countries. Among them were therapists, teachers, psychologists and counsellors whose own work now carries Barry Long's influence. And other spiritual teachers came to him (notably Eckhart Tolle). Barry Long's legacy is not only in his writings (his books are in 12 languages) and his recordings but in the countless lives he transformed.
